Yasmina originally comes from Los Angeles, CA where she worked as a professional Egyptian Dance Artist. Beginning in the mid 70's, she performed in nightclubs, banquet parties, theaters, weddings, and concerts. She has danced in cabaret and stage shows from Los Angeles to Florida, Northern California to Reno, Nevada.

     In 1990 was honored with becoming certified in Egyptian Cabaret and Theatrical Dancing from Sultana Ebrahim Dance Academy.

     Yasmina began teaching in Reno in 1992 and continues teaching today with on-going classes. She has overseen local events, performed in workshops and shows, judged a dance contest and currently is director of "Jasmine Middle Eastern Dance Company."

     Yasmina has continued her study with many different dance artists from northern California and Nevada, where she is always learning new and different styles and techniques.

     From the beginning of her dance career, she has always looked for the beauty in the dance, always showing dignity and pride, with love for everyone.
